Gamdom is seeking a Technical Data Analyst to join our growing data team. Reporting to the Reporting and Analytics Lead this role offers the opportunity to work across multiple areas of the casino industry supporting the delivery of impactful data solutions to drive business decisions.
In this role you will focus on implementing and maintaining key data reporting and analytics processes ensuring that data models dashboards and reports are optimized and meet business needs. Your strong technical skills particularly in SQL and data visualization will contribute to the seamless delivery of insights and robust data products.
Responsibilities
- Build maintain and enhance dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau ensuring accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
- Support the Reporting and Analytics Lead and other team members by implementing technical solutions based on gathered requirements from stakeholders.
- Work with the finance team to refine and document key business metrics and KPIs.
- Assist the CRM and marketing teams with customer segmentation campaign analysis and actionable insights to improve performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data models in the Data Warehouse ensuring scalability and usability.
- Document and standardize reporting processes making them accessible and consistent across the organization.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer critical business questions and support decisionmaking.
- Contribute to data governance efforts ensuring data quality consistency and usability.
Required Skills & Competencies
- 24 years of experience in a data analytics or reporting role preferably in the casino or iGaming industry.
- Experience working in a structured way using a backlog management tool like Jira to prioritize and manage activities.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying transforming and analyzing data.
- Handson experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI including creating and optimizing dashboards.
- Knowledge of data modeling and an understanding of data warehousing principles.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to deliver accurate and reliable outputs.
- Excellent attention to detail ensuring data and reporting consistency.
- Familiarity with privacy implications surrounding the usage of personal data for analytics.
- University Degree ideally in a Mathematical Statistical or related field (preferred).
