Senior Data Scientist Position Open at Fractory
Location: Flexible with a preference for Tartu or Tallinn

As a Data Scientist at Fractory you will develop advanced algorithms and machine learning models to solve complex manufacturing and logistics problems driving efficiency from pricing processes to automated production planning and supply chain optimization.
The data team is at the heart of our innovation responsible for everything from managing dashboards that track company KPIs to developing advanced machine learning solutions that drive our products evolution. As a member of this dynamic team you will collaborate closely with data engineers and analysts!

The Role
- Researching developing and deploying solutionsfor manufacturing problems
- Analyzing monitoring and improving existing machinelearning tools
- Evaluating and testing stateoftheart machine learning methods
- Participating in grant applications and research projectscontributing to the companys longterm growth
- Constantly expanding knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes to keep the company at the cutting edge
- Working on crossteam projects between the data team and the engineering team
What Were Looking For
- Indepth knowledge of statistical methods and data analysis:You have a strong foundation in these areas and can apply them to solve realworld problems
- Machine learning expertise: Youre an expert in machine learning methods and will drive the companys competency in this area
- Product mindset: You understand that not every problem needs the same level of complexity in its solution. Youll make decisions based on the potential impact of a solution choosing the simplest most effective approach when appropriate.
- Strong problemsolving skills: You will take complex problems and break them down into manageable pieces. Youll be able to devise solutions that balance complexity with the problems scope ensuring efficiency
- Strong collaboration skills: You can work effectively with engineers and product managers to ensure that the solutions you develop are aligned with business needs and customer impact.
- A continuous learner: You dont need to know everything about the industry but you should have a strong passion for learning and improving.
