Job Description
The IT team is expanding its expertise and is seeking an Azure Infrastructure Architect to join the team. As an Azure infrastructure architect your primary focus will be to drive Azure improvement security improvement cost optimalization effective monitoring technical road mapping and this all tight in coordination with technical teams and ITleaders with the goal of establishing sustainable and effective cloud infrastructure that serves both IT and Business needs. You will also drive projects (small and large) together with the business and IT engineers to onboard innovative technology improve the infrastructure environment realize cost reductions onboard new acquisitions etc. etc.
You will report to the Internal IT Infrastructure Manager part of the IT team whose mission is to provide an effective efficient reliable and appropriate infrastructure to its users that is also maintainable as such.
This job is locationindependent we are open to hiring in Spain Portugal Poland and Indonesia.
What You Will Do
- Lead Cloud Projects: Manage and lead multiple cloud projects ensuring timely and withinbudget delivery. You will coordinate with crossfunctional teams set project timelines and monitor progress to meet project goals.
- Technical Implementation: Oversee the engineering and configuration of cloud infrastructures on Microsoft Azure utilizing your handson experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
- Cloud Strategy and Migration: Develop and execute cloud adoption and migration strategies.
- Problem Resolution: Respond to and manage major incidents under pressure utilizing your strong problemsolving and analytical skills to ensure swift and effective resolutions.
- Continuous Learning and Certification: Stay updated with the latest Azure certifications and cloud technologies to maintain your expertise and guide the team with best practices.
- Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders: Serve as the bridge between technical teams and stakeholders facilitating clear communication and translating complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
Qualifications :
Who are you:
You have experience as a project manager with a strong technical background particularly in cloud computing and Microsoft Azure. You have a proven track record of managing and delivering multiple projects ensuring they are completed on time within scope and within budget. You bring a unique blend of technical expertise and project management skills enabling you to bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure on an IAAS and PAAS level
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with experience in coordinating crossfunctional teams setting project timelines and delivering successful outcomes.
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (PowerShell Bash Python)
- Good understanding of cloud adaption and migration
- MS certifications in cloud security and O365
- Hands on engineering configuration of cloud infrastructures using various automation tools
- Indepth experience in Azure cloud compute storage network firewall load balancers Admin portal Azure services Azure Active Directory / Entra ID.
- Detailed knowledge of automated provisioning and DevOps tooling
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively respond to major incidents.
- A bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field. MS Azure certificates from a course on cloud solutions architecture for Azure like Solutions Architect Expert (AZ300 AZ 3001) is a plus.
- Prior work experience in a position in which you have proven your technical social and communication skillset.
