Job Description
Our Customer is looking for a Lead Software Solution Architect who can work Remotely from anywhere within Poland.
- Oversee a team of product solution architects ensuring alignment with strategic technology objectives and driving the agenda for the technology steering group.
- Develop and refine the Manufacturing IT Application Strategy.
- Provide guidance and direction on the Target Application Architecture for the company s Manufacturing community.
- Lead the digital transformation of the Applications Architecture in collaboration with the crossfunctional Digital Manufacturing team.
- Convert business needs into architectural requirements.
- Document both business and system requirements comprehensively.
- Present multiple solution options to meet business needs.
- Adhere to the company s established IT and security standards and architectural principles.
- Evaluate the performance and value delivery of current or proposed applications identifying and eliminating obstacles to optimize value realization.
- Design and document architectural solutions leveraging contributions from other architects and integrating technical solutions into the broader architectural framework with a focus on manufacturing applications.
- Analyze the financial implications of application architecture choices.
Must have:
- Proven handson experience in developing highload scalable and balanced systems that integrate multiple data sources (industrial equipment) in realtime with lowlatency decisionmaking mechanisms; expertise in datadriven manufacturing systems.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to effectively lead global distributed teams delivering quality services and solutions across the Manufacturing sector.
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Mathematics Physics Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
- Over 10 years of experience across various IT roles with a strong preference for experience in IT/digital transformation projects including data engineering and cloud infrastructure in critical production environments within international settings.
- Comprehensive expertise in fullstack development including technologies such as .NET Core Entity Framework gRPC TypeScript (React.js or Angular) Docker Kubernetes Azure DevOps and PaaS.
- At least 7 years of experience in domain or solution architecture roles within the manufacturing sector with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) experience being highly desirable.
- Proven experience in largescale system design implementation and operations.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Preferred Skills:
- Deep handson experience in establishing and implementing DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices including backlogs CI/CD automation and containerization technologies (e.g. Kubernetes Red Hat OpenShift Terraform) as well as relevant Microsoft Azure or AWS technologies.
- Software development experience in agile environments with multiple programming languages with C# Java JavaScript Python and R being advantageous.
- Proficiency in CloudNative Architectures REST APIs Microservices Git Docker Kubernetes SQL/NoSQL databases and messaging frameworks.
- Experience with Cloud and Edge Computing including relevant Public Cloud IaaS and PaaS services with infrastructure architecture expertise and best practices knowledge being a plus.
