Join our Water Engineering team as a Senior Project Manager in Process Mechanics for Water Treatment. Within our group we encourage innovation multidisciplinary collaboration continuous learning and the sharing of technical ideas. You will work in a hybrid formula in the Metropolitan region. You will oversee the execution of mandates of varying nature and scope from technical studies to the design of water treatment works and construction support services for municipal and industrial drinking water and wastewater treatment projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as project manager for several largescale projects by directing collaborating and ensuring the quality of plans and specifications engineering concepts and work supervision.
- Act as a technical reference in the engineering field and resolve complex issues by mentoring less experienced resources and sharing your knowledge.
- Coordinate resources and different professionals and liaise with other internal disciplines to produce deliverables within established deadlines and priorities
- Meet with customers present projects plan requirements prepare service offers establish budgets and schedules and monitor project progress from both a technical and budgetary standpoint.
- Oversee the review of treatment processes and carry out studies to optimize treatment systems
- Supervise the teams work in preparing treatment technologies and selecting treatment equipment
- Assist in the preparation of environmental assessments/master plans design dossiers and technical reports
- Supervise the teams work in preparing contract specifications and technical calculations
- Participate in and oversee site inspections for condition assessment and/or design purposes
- Lead the execution of mandates by directing key project management elements such as project planning documents including schedules budgets cost control processes and work procedures.
- Liaise with municipal clients government authorities and regulatory bodies to address specific project needs and guide a project through the approval process
- Organize and run meetings with municipal customers and at public information centers
- Supervise the preparation of presentations and meeting documents
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in engineering (civil chemical mechanical or environmental engineering)
- Minimum 10 years experience in the technical design of water and wastewater treatment plants
- Be an accredited member of the Ordre des ingnieurs du Qubec (OIQ)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong multidisciplinary project management skills
