Senior Systems Engineer

ADGA is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to provide the services of a subject matter expert (SME) supporting all systems engineering requirements for our client:

Duties will include:

• Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with all project stakeholders to gather and analyze operational requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system requirements that guide the design and development process.
• System Design: Participate in the design and development of systems architecture and subsystems which includes defining system components interfaces and interactions to ensure they align with operational requirements.
• Integration and Testing: Oversee the integration of various subsystems and components to ensure they function together seamlessly as a cohesive system. Also conduct integration testing to verify system performance and interoperability.
• Verification and Validation: Develop and execute verification and validation plans to ensure that the system meets specified requirements and performs as expected under various operational scenarios.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess technical risks associated with system design integration and operation and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues that could impact project success.

Qualifications :

• Must hold a valid PSPC Secret level clearance.
• Consultants need to be registered with the Controlled Goods Program and Employees will have it processed by ADGA.
• Will be international travel involved. (must have a valid Passport to work on contract)
• Must have Engineering Bachelors degree in software computer systems electrical or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR. (will need copy)
• Minimum of 5 years (60 months) of demonstrated experience as a System Engineer on Military C4ISR systems. (Command Control Intelligence Surveillance & Reconnaissance)
• Minimum of 8 years (96 months) of demonstrated experience within the last 10 years (120 months) in the preparation of technical documents system specifications and technical proposals in the field of Info Technology/Info Management or Engineering experience.
• Minimum of 8 years (96 months) of demonstrated experience in each of the assessment areas criteria:
  • Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
  • Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems.
  • Providing advice guidance and recommendations on technical issues to support the decisionmarking of senior management.
  • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems frameworks or strategies.
  • Performing strategic operations or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.

• Minimum of 6 years (72 months) of demonstrated experience within the last 8 years (96 months) in system engineering in a minimum of 4 of this assessment areas criteria below:
  • Demonstrated systems engineering work experience analyzing designing and/or implementing solutions in one or more of the following areas: 
    •  Command and control communication and information systems within a distributed platform environment. 
    • Command and control communication and information systems within a client/server environment. 
    • Military ISTAR systems. 
    • Joint or Allied C4ISR Interoperability solutions using NATO Standardization Agreements; and 
    • System management solutions (tools and processes) for communication & information systems and/or ISTAR systems. 
  • Demonstrated work experience in system integration verification and validation for hardware and software components (COTS and/or custom developed) in new or existing systems 
  • Demonstrated systems engineering experience working on communication and information systems (Hardware Software and Network) or Specialty engineering (Security Modeling Simulation STAR). 
  • Demonstrated work experience in system engineering within a RealTime or Distributed Systems environment. 
  • Demonstrated work experience in system lifecycle management of communication and information systems or ISTAR systems.
