Are you looking for a location change Are you dedicated and experienced nurse with a passion for leadership and making a difference

Come join our team at the Brisbane IDC as an Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Team Leader and contribute to the health and wellbeing of those in our care.

About the Role

As the AOD Team Leader you will oversee and guide a multidisciplinary team providing highquality support and intervention for individuals with alcohol and other drug concerns. Your expertise will ensure a safe and supportive environment promoting the physical and mental wellbeing of detainees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the AOD team to deliver evidencebased interventions.
  • Develop implement and monitor care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Provide clinical expertise and support to team members.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Maintain compliance with legal ethical and organisational standards.

Qualifications :

Essential Requirements

  • Registered Nurse with at least 5 years of nursing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of AOD treatment frameworks and clinical practices.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication organisational and problemsolving abilities.

Desirable

  • Experience working within a detention or correctional setting.
