Job Description
California Closets of Charleston SC is looking to expand our team in the Installation department. If you have an aptitude for woodworking a valid SCDL a good driving record and are able to work independently we would like to consider you for a position with our organization. We provide equipment and training as well as a competitive pay scale for this outstanding opportunity.
The main responsibility of this position is to produce our products in a safe efficient and effective manner upholding the business & personal ethics along with the customer satisfaction levels that our clients have come to expect and that California Closets has always stood for.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- maintain a commitment to client satisfaction customer service and excellence
- perform skilled and semiskilled carpentry work to create custom storage systems such as closets cabinets offices and other spaces
- utilize provided CAD drawings to produce systems properly and efficiently.
- maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order
- partake in training programs as needed and as required
- provide a high level of customer service when needed
- maintain safety standards at all times.
- operating companyprovided vehicles in a safe manner.
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications :
- must maintain a valid drivers license and good driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- experience with common hand and power tools
- trade or vocational school experience desirable
- cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable
- strong verbal and written communication and listening skills
- maintain a strong work ethic
- possess reliable transportation to and from our facility
- acceptable postoffer drug screen
- ability to pass background test
- able to walk lift 50 pounds reach stoop stand grasp balance climb stairs kneel and crouch
Additional Information :
Hourly Pay range: $17.00 to $25.00
range depends on experience skillsets and fit for the position
Performance Based Compensation: varies based on productivity efficiency & effectiveness
