Job Description
AHRC NYC is looking to immediately hire Full & PartTime Direct Support Professionals (DSP) for Multiple STATEN ISLAND residences. The pay rate is between $17$18 per hour depending on driving status with the possibility of a one dollar per hour increase if in good standing after six months.
Day and Evening Shifts.....DRIVER LICENSE REQUIRED
Overnight Shift.....DRIVERS LICENSE NOT REQUIRED. WEEKEND AVAILABILITY NEEDED FOR MOST POSITIONS.

- The oversight of all safety and health considerations
- Promoting skill development interests and hobbies
- Assisting with Adult Daily Living skills (ADLs)
- Other personalized responsibilities including cooking cleaning hygiene etc.
Qualifications :
- Personal or Professional experience supporting People with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) preferred.
- Professionalism; integrity; excellent communication skills. Patience is a MUST!
- Willingness to support peoples preferences for community activities work leisure activities the exercise of their rights etc. in various settings.
- Ability to use a computer for data entry.
- High school education/GED highly preferred.
