Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a professional company specialising in business advisory. They need a skilled and dedicated Payroll Specialist and Accountant capable of handling all kind of accounting tasks and implementing the most recent payroll legislation. You will collaborate with an international team so experience in a multicultural business environment is a great advantage.

About the Company:

Established in 1978 our client offers a wide range of business advisory services including Tax & Transfer Pricing Payroll & Employment Services Accounting & Compliance and Advisory & Corporate. They have offices in 21 cities in the emerging market of South East Europe and the Middle East (SEEME and the Baltics).

What Youll Do:

As Payroll Specialist and Accountant your main duties will cover a diverse range of accounting tasks including representing clients before authorities. You will also be responsible with full adherence to labour laws and monitoring the legislation for any changes.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Processing monthly payroll and payments for Slovenian clients
  • Preparation of compulsory reports for local authorities
  • Handling accounting tasks such as accounting entries bookkeeping reconciliations
  • Preparation of reports for the companys management ensuring compliance with local and regional tax laws and regulations
  • Collaborating with crossborder teams to provide seamless and efficient services
  • Representing clients before relevant local institutions and authorities
  • Advisory services to clients for labour and payroll matters
  • Monitoring legislation changes related to social insurances labour laws etc.

Requirements:

To succeed in this position you must fulfil the following conditions:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll or accounting position
  • Previous work experience in Pantheon and/or similar software will be considered an advantage
  • Bachelors degree orrelevant accounting/HR qualification
  • Very good knowledge of Slovenian regulations for payroll and accounting
  • Fluent in English and Slovenian
  • Good command of Serbian and Croatian language
  • Experience in working with international/multinational companies
  • Excellent communication analytical and organisation skills.
