Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Woolwich to assist with the appointment of a Personalised Commissioning Officer on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 18.80 23.67 per hour
Responsibilities:
- To take a lead role in identifying and securing provision including placements for looked after children which are appropriate to meet the needs and reflect the strengths and preferences of individual children referred.
- To negotiate with providers to secure the best match for an individual children or young person and ensure the best price for accessing the provision.
- To establish and maintain professional relationships with senior managers in a range of independent and voluntary sector providers including managers of independent sector fostering agencies in order to improve their understanding of and ability to meet Greenwichs requirements and standards.
- To undertake quality assurance visits on providers in assessing the nature of their provision and whether it meets expected quality standards.
- Write reports on quality assurance visits that feed into the overall quality assurance framework.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
