Job Description
Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain Oracle database systems (Oracle 11g/12c/19c and beyond).
- Perform regular database backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitor and optimize database performance ensuring high availability and scalability.
- Implement database security measures and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in database upgrades and patching to ensure uptodate security and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve databaserelated issues including performance bottlenecks and data corruption.
- Perform database tuning and query optimization to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to support databaserelated application development and deployment.
- Manage database storage and ensure proper archiving and retention policies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations processes and troubleshooting guides.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience as an Oracle DBA (working with Oracle 11g 12c 19c etc.).
- Indepth knowledge of Oracle database architecture SQL PL/SQL and backup/recovery techniques.
- Handson experience with Oracle Data Guard RAC ASM and GoldenGate is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and problemsolving skills particularly in highperformance environments.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience in database security best practices and encryption.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies (Oracle Cloud AWS Azure) and related database management.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Oracle certification (OCP) is preferred but not required.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
