Job Description

In 2025 they will open a new production plant in Felgueiras and are seeking a Process Engineer to define the manufacturing process ensure its continuous improvement maintain high production efficiency and manage its changes in the serial life cycle.

Tasks
- Develop define and refine manufacturing processes to ensure optimal performance product quality and efficiency. Drive continuous improvement efforts in production operations
- Oversee and implement process changes throughout the products serial life cycle ensuring smooth transitions and minimal impact on production
- Manage the labor process productivity plan including cycletime optimization and performance tracking to meet production goals
- Collaborate in the qualification of both products and processes ensuring that all standards and specifications are met throughout the manufacturing process
- Contribute to factory capacity planning ensuring the alignment of manufacturing processes with production demands and available resources
- Participate in managing or leading 8D problemsolving processes related to product and process issues. Capitalize on lessons learned to improve future product/process iterations
- Maintain process parameters and specifications to ensure consistency in manufacturing operations and quality control
Requirements
- Native or full professional level of Portuguese
- Full professional level of English
- Bachelors degree in a relevant Engineering field or equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering environment as a process engineer or a similar technical role
- Knowledge of machining welding mechanical assembly electronics assembly and testing
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve processrelated issues effectively (experience with 8D problemsolving is a plus)
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes production systems and relevant technologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively with a keen focus on deadlines and quality standards
