Tasks
About the role:
As a Fullstack Frontend Engineer with a strong Developer Experience mindset youll play a crucial role in shaping and delivering software within innovative and challenging projects. Your expertise will drive the architecture tooling and deployment strategies that bring our products to life. You will also focus on assessing existing developer tools and processes to identify areas for improvement to improve frequency and quality of releases.
We work in an Agile environment (Scrum) with a testfirst mindset (actually writing code without tests should be unthinkable). We are also big advocates of pair programming and nothing is released until we have a code review.
If you are a proactive adaptable and enthusiastic engineer with experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend architecture along with a passion for integrating DevOps and DevExp principles into your work we encourage you to apply. Requirements
Technical competencies:
- Commercial experience of working with React React Native Electron and Node;
- Indepth knowledge of CSS in its multiple applications (Tailwind CSS in JavaScript CSS Modules etc);
- Thoughtful about Component composition and state management with experience in multiple patterns (e.g. MobX Redux Context etc);
- Knowledge and experience with the uptodate transpiling bundling and packaging ecosystem (e.g. esbuild vite yarn turborepo etc);
- Experience with documentation generation tools both for libraries and for components;
- Opinionated and experienced with linting and formatting tools;
- Strong and vast experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery as well as Infrastructure as Code tools and techniques;
- Experience in testing your products with Unit Integration End to End and Visual Regression tests;
NonTechnical competencies:
- Selfmotivated proactive and continually looking for ways to improve and develop yourself;
- A good communicator both in writing and verbally. Youll be able to explain technical ideas and concepts in businessfriendly language;
- Detail oriented;
- Used to working in a teamoriented collaborative environment;
- Analytical and problemsolving oriented;
- A genuine believer in diversity and fairness.
