We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our dynamic team in the insurance sector. In this role you will play a key part in developing cloudbased solutions optimizing databases and implementing best practices in software architecture and security. Youll work in a collaborative environment leveraging modern development methodologies and cloud frameworks to drive innovation.
Tasks
- Develop and maintain scalable Python applications ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Design and implement cloudbased solutions using Microsoft Azure services including Azure Batch and ServiceIO.
- Integrate and optimize APIs to ensure seamless data exchange across systems.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software deployment and delivery processes.
- Ensure security best practices in IT applications and infrastructure minimizing risks and vulnerabilities.
- Optimize database performance using SQL and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Contribute to software architecture by designing solutions aligned with best practices in Active Directory (AD) Storage and Managed Services.
- Apply strong problemsolving and algorithmic skills to enhance system efficiency and performance.
- Leverage cloud frameworks and modern development methodologies to build innovative insurance solutions.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
Requirements
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science IT or a related field
5 years of Python development experience (mandatory)
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud (Azure Batch ServiceIO etc.) (mandatory)
Good knowledge working with Software ArcGIS (it is a plus)
Good experience in using APIs (mandatory)
Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (mandatory)
Solid understanding of security principles in IT applications and infrastructures
Expertise in SQL and database optimization
Experience with software architecture best practices (AD Storage Managed services etc.)
Strong algorithmic and problemsolving skills
Good knowledge of cloud frameworks and modern development methodologies
Availability and interest to work in an hybrid model (twice a week)
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with Vue.js and Express.js
Familiarity with largescale optimization techniques
