Job Title: Web Application Developer (Hybrid)
Location: Richmond VA
Duration:6 Months
Job Type: CorpCorp / 1099 / Contract W2
Rate: $60/hr on C2C
Client: State of Virginia
Interview Type: Either Phone OR In Person
Note: Local candidates are strongly preferred. Candidates MUST have experience with R programming language & web development experience using ShinyApp.io

VDOT Programmer Analyst 3: We are looking for a skilled Web Application Developer with extensive experience in R programming and ShinyApp.io to to design develop and maintain datadriven web applications that leverage R.
We are looking for a skilled Web Application Developer with extensive experience in R programming and ShinyApp.io to join our team. The ideal candidates primary responsibilities will be designing developing and maintaining datadriven web applications that leverage R for statistical computing and data visualization and also occasionally support/bug fix our existing tools designed and developed utilizing Angular and Python.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop interactive web applications using R and ShinyApp.io.
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create intuitive user interfaces and dashboards.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across different devices.
- Integrate Rbased applications with APIs databases and other data sources.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for existing web applications.
- Requirements:
- Proficient in R programming and ShinyApp.io.
- Experience with AWS CSS and JavaScript for UI/UX design.
- Familiarity with Web/Angular and DB/SQL and Python
- Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience with version control (e.g. Git) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills.
