Operational Support Lead

Ricci & Associates is seeking a proactive and detailoriented Operational Support Lead to oversee and streamline our business operations. This fully remote position is central to ensuring the smooth running of various support functions enhancing operational efficiency and fostering collaboration between departments. As the Operational Support Lead you will manage daytoday activities identify areas for improvement and ensure optimal performance in our remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Remote Operations Management: Lead and manage daily operational support tasks remotely ensuring seamless coordination between teams and departments. Use remote collaboration tools to oversee tasks and ensure deadlines are met.
• Team Coordination: Oversee the remote operational support team assigning tasks monitoring progress and ensuring that all team members are aligned with company objectives.
• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in remote operational workflows and implement solutions to improve productivity and operational effectiveness. Continuously evaluate remote processes to ensure optimization.
• Client & Vendor Relations: Maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors by providing support and resolving operational issues. Act as the primary point of contact for operational concerns and ensure swift resolution of any problems even in a remote setting.
• Data & Reporting: Track and analyze key operational metrics to ensure that the companys remote processes are running smoothly. Generate reports for senior management on team performance and process efficiency.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure that all remote operational activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Identify and manage potential risks associated with remote operations.
• Technology & Tools Management: Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure that remote work tools systems and platforms are functioning efficiently. Provide support for troubleshooting and technical issues faced by the remote team.
• Training & Development: Lead remote training sessions to onboard new team members and continuously develop the skills of current staff. Ensure all team members are proficient in using remote collaboration tools and following standard operating procedures.
• ProblemSolving & DecisionMaking: Address operational challenges swiftly and provide effective solutions to maintain smooth business functions. Make informed decisions to manage workload and support business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Operations Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations management preferably in a remote working environment.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing remote teams and projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage relationships in a virtual setting.
• High proficiency in remote collaboration tools (such as Slack Zoom Microsoft Teams) and project management software (such as Trello Asana or Monday.com).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs in a remote work environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in the insurance industry or with professional service firms.
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
• Familiarity with risk management and compliance procedures for remote operations.
• Ability to foster a positive and productive work culture within a remote team.
