Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. This role is critical in supporting our companys staffing needs by sourcing screening and hiring top talent for a variety of positions within our organization with a primary focus on roles supporting government contracts. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure that candidates meet all required qualifications including security clearances and government compliance standards. Some of the job requirements include:
- Source identify and engage potential candidates through various channels including job boards social media networking events and referrals.
- Screen resumes and applications to assess candidates qualifications experience and cultural fit.
- Conduct interviews both in person and virtually to evaluate candidates skills work history and potential for success.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and desired candidate profiles for government contract roles.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and security clearance requirements in the talent acquisition process.
- Manage the full talent acquisition life cycle from job postings to offer negotiation ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) to ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key talent pools and networks relevant to government contracting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand longterm staffing needs and build a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in human resources business administration or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 35 years of talent acquisition experience preferably in government contracting or federal staffing.
- Strong understanding of government contracting processes and compliance including security clearance requirements.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience recruiting for technical and/or cleared positions is a plus.
