The Content group at NBC Sports Bay Area/California is responsible for the daytoday planning and production of onair and digital schedules. Interns will assist in the production of daily content and programs while also helping various production and marketing related initiatives including research audio/video production news gathering editing content.
A snapshot of your responsibilities:
- Screening/logging of games press conferences interviews and taped programs to prepare for editing
- Researching for graphic boards creating onair graphics and assisting the ticker operators
- Assisting Associate Producers in the edit rooms
- Working on the production of all pregame/postgame programming
- Preparing copying and distributing programming information and scripts
- Executing detail work to procure footage from external sources
- May be assigned additional tasks needed to support the networks daytoday operations
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications
- Must be actively enrolled in a degreegranting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (June 2025 through August 2025). May 2025 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2025 Internship Program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future toretain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to work in San Francisco California.
Desired Characteristics
- Students with a class standing of junior or above preferred.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Windows Office Outlook PowerPoint Excel)
- Strong interest in web mobile social media sports and television
- Intermediate media production experience (college programs)
- Knowledge of Bay Area sports (baseball basketball football hockey)
- Excellent verbal written interpersonal and creative skills
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and work both independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment
- Proven track record of following through on projects

Compensation: The hourly rate for this internship is $18.67/hr.
