Senior Full-Stack Engineer AI

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer within Checkout.coms AI Center of Excellence you will play a pivotal role in applying cuttingedge Generative AI technologies to transform how we operate and innovate. You will design build and deploy AIdriven solutions collaborating across teams to create impactful applications that enhance product features and streamline business processes.

How youll make an impact:

• Collaborate with product managers data scientists and engineers to research scope and validate use cases for Generative AI that drive business value and innovation.
• Design and build APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities seamlessly into internal and external workflows.
• Support the development tuning and deployment of Generative AI models (e.g. chatbots virtual assistants and knowledge extraction).
• Create scalable reliable infrastructure for training deploying and monitoring AI models leveraging cloud platforms like AWS GCP or Azure.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure adherence to best practices for model deployment security and compliance with global regulations.
• Develop intuitive userfriendly interfaces to enable stakeholders to interact with AIdriven features.
• Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to ensure scalability security and operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking For:

• Proficiency in Python (and at least one other language a plus).  Experience with key libraries such as PyTorch Pandas Hugging Face Transformers or similar AI toolkits.
• Working knowledge of LLMs (e.g. GPT BERT Llama Gemini) and experience applying them to solve specific problems.
• Handson experience with frontend development (e.g. React) and creating responsive web applications.
• Solid backend engineering skills including designing and implementing RESTful APIs or microservices.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS GCP or Azure) and containerization tools (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
• Experience with modern data platforms (e.g. Snowflake BigQuery or Databricks) and data processing workflows (ETL pipelines).
• Strong problemsolving abilities with the capacity to learn quickly and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams.

We also want to hear if you have:

• Experience developing Generative AI applications including finetuning models or creating prototypes.
• Awareness of ethical considerations and emerging best practices in AI governance.
• Track record of developing rapid prototypes with a focus on measurable ROI.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and largescale data processing.
• Contributions to opensource projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
• High levels of technical curiosity and an eagerness to learn new platforms

Additional Information :

Hybrid Working Model: All of our offices globally are onsite 3 times per week (Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday). Weve worked towards enabling teams to work collaboratively in the same space while also being able to partner with colleagues globally.
