Job Description

Role overview Context

As a Senior Department People Partner youll be responsible for making a significant impact on your dedicated client groups (Finance Legal & Compliance) partnering closely with senior leadership to steward change and empower Checkout.coms growth through operational readiness and organisational excellence.

In this role you provide handson and strategic counsel insight and advice to senior leadership on all people areas including engagement performance management change communications talent reward and DEIB. Working closely with the broader People team you will drive strategic people initiatives change and improvement in your client groups all of which will contribute to building a high performance culture for Checkout.com.  

Heres how youll make a real impact:

  • Be the Architect of Organisational Health: Youll dive deep into people data analysing trends and identifying opportunities to enhance employee wellbeing performance and retention. Youll develop and implement targeted initiatives to address any areas for improvement ensuring our teams are thriving.
  • Craft HighPerforming Teams: Collaborate with leaders to design and evolve organisational structures that optimise efficiency agility and talent alignment. Youll ensure that our teams are structured for success fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Navigate Change with Confidence: Youll be a change champion guiding leaders and teams through periods of transformation. Youll develop and execute impactful communication strategies ensuring that everyone is informed engaged and empowered throughout the process.
  • Drive Key People Initiatives: Youll play a vital role in delivering key people programs including workforce planning performance management and talent reviews. Youll ensure that these initiatives are aligned with our strategic objectives and foster a culture of continuous growth.
  • Champion Employee Engagement: Youll be the pulse of your department analysing engagement data identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans to create a truly exceptional employee experience.
  • Attract and Develop Top Talent: Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify and attract the best talent ensuring a robust pipeline of candidates who embody our values. Youll also play an active role in developing our people providing coaching and mentorship to support their growth.
  • Empower Leaders to Excel: Youll coach and mentor managers equipping them with the skills and tools they need to lead highperforming teams navigate change effectively and make sound decisions

Qualifications:

While a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology Business or a related field is preferred we value experience and demonstrated capabilities above all else.
