Job Description

Location:  you can be remote within the USA

The Director of Business Development role is a key position responsible for stepping into a legacy of deep industry expertise and trusted advisory relationships in the Financial Services (FinServ) sector. This individual will lead efforts to expand opportunities within the Microsoft Data Services Platform including onpremises and cloudbased offerings data science advanced analytics and application development.

We are seeking a candidate who is wellregarded in the FinServ industry with a proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships and deliver meaningful business transformation. The ideal candidate will have experience speaking at industry events conferences and webinars demonstrating thought leadership and strategic insight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive market growth by developing and managing strategic relationships with Clevel executives and key decisionmakers in the Financial Services sector.
  • Lead sales cycles from lead generation to closure creating and executing strategic account and opportunity plans.
  • Represent Hitachi Solutions as a thought leader at industry conferences webinars and customer events articulating a compelling vision for digital transformation.
  • Build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with Microsofts customerfacing teams to enable joint gotomarket strategies.
  • Collaborate with presales engineers and leadership to deliver impactful solutions aligned with customers business goals.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and innovations positioning Hitachi Solutions as a leader in Microsoftpowered FinServ solutions.

Qualifications :

  • Deep industry experience in Financial Services with a strong reputation as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Proven track record of speaking at industry conferences panels and webinars.
  • A minimum of 10 years of successful sales experience in strategic technology business applications and solutions.
  • Deep expertise in selling Microsoft technology stack solutions (Azure Dynamics SQL Machine Learning IoT Power BI and Application Development).
  • Proven ability to build relationships at the CIO level and deliver valuebased selling strategies.
  • Strong and established relationships with Microsoft customerfacing teams.
  • Exceptional written verbal and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience working with thirdparty vendors and navigating complex partner ecosystems.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment and work collaboratively with a team.

    Base Salary Pay Range*: USD $120000 USD $160000

    *The current applicable Base Salary Pay Range for this role is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills relevant to the role internal equity alignment with market data or other law.
