Job Description
Job Overview:
As a Business Intelligence Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing BI solutions to support the organizations datadriven decisionmaking processes. You will collaborate with business stakeholders data analysts and other IT professionals to gather requirements design data models and create visualizations that deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to understand their data and reporting needs.
- Analyze and document business requirements for BI solutions.
- Design and develop data models that support business reporting and analytics.
- Ensure data accuracy integrity and consistency in data models.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract transform and load data from various sources into the data warehouse.
- Monitor and optimize ETL performance.
- Create interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau QlikView).
- Customize and enhance existing reports to meet evolving business needs.
- Work with database administrators to optimize database performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve datarelated issues.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business processes and ensure data solutions align with organizational goals.
- Provide training and support to endusers on BI tools and solutions.
- Document data models ETL processes and report specifications.
- Maintain documentation for future reference and team collaboration.
- Keep abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and best practices in BI and analytics.
Qualifications :
- Years of experience 0 3
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or Equivalent field or experience.
- Proven experience as a BI Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI Tableau or similar.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
- Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and architectures.
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
