Job Description

Job Overview:

Rashmi Metaliks is seeking a highly experienced and driven Senior Sales Executive with over 5 years of experience in selling GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) pipes HDPE (HighDensity Polyethylene) pipes OPVC (Oriented Polyvinyl Chloride) pipes or DI (Ductile Iron) pipes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth managing key accounts and expanding our client base in the infrastructure water supply and industrial sectors. This role demands a deep understanding of the pipe industry strong sales acumen and the ability to build longterm client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Execution:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for GRP HDPE OPVC and DI pipes.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities including expanding the customer base in the infrastructure water and industrial sectors.
Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decisionmakers in construction companies water utilities government bodies and industrial clients.
Understand client needs present product solutions and negotiate contracts and terms to close sales deals.
Account Management:

Manage key accounts by providing exceptional customer service ensuring timely delivery of products and addressing any postsales issues or concerns.
Monitor customer satisfaction and take proactive measures to maintain high levels of client retention.
Market Research and Intelligence:

Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and potential market opportunities.
Provide feedback to management regarding market conditions competitor analysis and potential areas for growth.
Product Knowledge and Promotion:

Demonstrate a deep understanding of GRP HDPE OPVC and DI pipes including their applications advantages and technical specifications.
Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to provide customers with accurate product information and tailored solutions.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:

Prepare sales forecasts budgets and reports for management providing insights into sales performance pipeline status and areas for improvement.
Track and report on sales activities including customer meetings negotiations and closed deals.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work closely with the production logistics and customer service teams to ensure seamless delivery and support to clients.
Liaise with the technical teams to ensure that customer needs are met with the right products and solutions.
Contract Negotiation and Compliance:

Negotiate pricing terms and contracts with clients while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with legal requirements and company guidelines.
Customer Engagement and Retention:

Participate in trade shows exhibitions and industry events to promote the companys product portfolio and generate new leads.
Implement customer retention strategies to build longterm partnerships with clients.
Sales Performance Tracking:

Regularly assess personal sales performance against targets and take corrective actions where necessary to meet or exceed goals.


Qualifications :

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or a related field. A Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a plus.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in GRP HDPE OPVC or DI pipes preferably in the infrastructure water supply or industrial sectors.

Skills:

Strong understanding of the technical specifications benefits and applications of GRP HDPE OPVC and DI pipes.

Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Strong analytical skills and ability to understand market trends and dynamics.

Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Ability to travel frequently to meet clients and attend industry events.

Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain lasting relationships with key clients in the industry.
