Key Responsibilities Include:
- Facilitating New Employee Orientation: Conduct engaging and informative sessions ensuring all new hires feel welcomed and prepared for their role.
- Leading Virtual Trainings: Utilize platforms like Zoom GoToMeeting and Teams to deliver training remotely. Youll also provide support with any technical issues that may arise.
- Proficient Use of Software: Demonstrate your skills with programs such as Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and Outlook to create effective training materials.
- Managing Our Learning Management System: Update and track training completions classes and essential data to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Monitoring Training Components: Oversee schedules documentation and materials to maintain a high standard of training delivery.
- Open Communication: Foster ongoing dialogue with all staff levels regarding training requirements and needs.
- Supporting Fellow Trainers: Collaborate with colleagues and assist in organizational and departmental inservice training.
- Coordinating Resources: Work together with staff to maximize training benefits for the individuals we serve and enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications :
MUST HAVE:
- Experience/Education: A minimum of two years of experience as a trainer educator or in a similar role preferably in a developmental disabilities healthcare or social services setting.
- Certified or willing to become certified in the following:
- CPR Instruction: Deliver engaging handson CPR training to ensure participants are confident and wellprepared in lifesaving techniques.
- CBRF Programs: Includes First Aid (with choking) Fire Safety and Standard Precautions ensuring compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.
- MANDT System Expertise: Deliver training focused on safe respectful and nonviolent crisis intervention techniques emphasizing dignity and relationshipbuilding during challenging situations.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Ability to squat bend and stand for extended periods.
- Demonstrate and perform MANDT techniques which include physical movements such as pulling pushing and other actions required for safe and respectful crisis intervention.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with virtual platforms like Zoom Microsoft Teams and GoToMeeting; capable of troubleshooting technical issues during live sessions. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Teams and Outlook) and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
***Please note that this is a driving position and requires a valid drivers license. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be able to operate company vehicles as part of their job responsibilities.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
Please note that the trainer must be willing to travel to Janesville and Milwaukee for necessary training sessions.
The trainer role is primarily during normal business hours Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. However there may be occasions when night training sessions are required.
