Your Role:
- As an integral member of the TidNBul Estates Maintenance Team the Subcontractor Manager is responsible for effective and efficient management leading a team to deliver a comprehensive Subcontractor management service that is effectual and proactive in achieving contractual Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Implementing controlling and directing a Subcontract management strategy that minimises operational disruptions to the customer whilst ensuring compliance with mandatory and legislative governance. This role is accountable for all PPM compliance.
- Ensuring the estate within area of responsibility always remain compliant in statutory and mandatory legislation submitting risk escalation on noncompliance notifications
- Analyse and identify trends or deficiencies in maintenance activities including subcontractors and contract management within the PPM programme escalating identified agendas to the EGM
- Oversee the Authority to Proceed System in the management of maintenance contractors ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) follow the authorised activity being conducted.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualifications: Recognised Electrical Mechanical or Building trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level Three (theory and practice) in a relevant discipline with suitable industry experience. An Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) Managing Safely or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Experience of Team management FM maintenance management or equivalent with experience in managing contractors to maximise efficiency. To be proficient in IT systems with thorough understanding of statutory and mandatory legislative regulations British Standards (BS) and compliance related to maintenance operations
- Skills: Excellent team management communication (both written and verbal) customer service organisational and analytical skills. Commercially aware of industry best practices and technology with the ability to use initiative and judgement to solve problems.
- Driving Licence: Full UK valid driving licence required.
