Digital Health Director

Roles and responsibilities

The Director of Digital Health Transformation will be responsible for overseeing, managing and evolving all aspects related for CARE Medical Company’s digital services and its Business Units. He will be required to manage existing systems and lead the development of new projects from inception through delivery into test environment to implementation. He / She should have a strategic thinking and the ability to drive change through digital transformation and engagement.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensures through his actions, either directly or indirectly, that a superior quality of medical treatment, compassion and understanding is given to every patient served at the CARE Medical Hospitals and Clinics.

Assesses CARE Medical Company’s digital needs and develop strategies for leveraging digital technologies to drive business growth and transformation.
Assessing current applications and recommending improvements.

Responsible for leading initiatives including identifying, and prioritizing projects and overseeing projects execution.

Managing digital platforms and tools.

Responsible for developing and implementing a clear vision and roadmap for the organization’s transformation.
1. Strategic Planning and Leadership
Develop Digital Health Strategy: Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive digital health strategy that aligns with the organization's overall healthcare goals and objectives.
Identify Opportunities for Digital Innovation: Identify opportunities to implement innovative digital solutions that enhance patient care, improve clinical workflows, and support healthcare professionals in delivering better outcomes.
Manage Digital Transformation Roadmap: Create and manage a roadmap for digital transformation initiatives, including timelines, budgets, and key milestones.
2. Overseeing Digital Health Projects
Project Management: Oversee and lead digital health projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet predefined goals and objectives.
Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with clinical teams, IT departments, business executives, and external partners to coordinate and implement digital health initiatives effectively.
Integration of Digital Solutions: Ensure seamless integration of new digital health technologies with existing healthcare systems, such as EHRs, patient management systems, and clinical decision support systems.

Qualifications

A minimum of four (4) year experience with Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or any related course.

A minimum of three (3) years experience in a large hospital setting in a similar job.

A relevant project management qualification or equivalent work experience.

Fluency in verbal and written English.
Knowledge of Health IT: Expertise in health IT systems, including electronic health records (EHR), health information exchange (HIE), telemedicine platforms, and health data interoperability.
Digital Health Technologies: Familiarity with emerging technologies in healthcare such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, robotics, remote patient monitoring, and mobile health applications.
Data Analytics: Proficiency in data analytics, business intelligence tools, and using data to drive decision-making and improve healthcare outcomes.
