Job Description

Position Title: IBM Maximo Specialist (US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure IBM Maximo to align with organizational needs including setting up workflows security and user roles.
  • Customize Maximo to integrate with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP SCADA GIS) and external tools.
  • Develop and deploy Maximo solutions including reports dashboards and interfaces.
  • Provide daytoday support for users experiencing issues with Maximo.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and system defects related to Maximo functionality.
  • Perform regular system updates patches and upgrades to ensure the latest features and security fixes are applied.
  • Work with IT teams to integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems such as SAP Oracle or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems by overseeing data migration data validation and synchronization processes.
  • Create user manuals training materials and conduct enduser training sessions.
  • Provide guidance to endusers on best practices system features and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business needs and recommend solutions leveraging Maximo.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize asset management maintenance workflows and procurement processes using Maximo features.
  • Participate in project planning and execution for Maximorelated projects.
  • Support project teams in delivering Maximo implementation enhancements or migrations on time and within budget.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues affecting system availability or functionality.
  • Create and deliver regular reports and KPIs related to asset management performance downtime and maintenance efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IBM Maximo Specialist or in a similar role with handson experience in configuring supporting and optimizing Maximo EAM solutions.
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong knowledge of Maximo modules such as Asset Management Work Order Management Preventive Maintenance Procurement and Inventory.
  • Familiarity with Maximos architecture integration methods (e.g. Maximo Integration Framework MIF) and database management.
  • Proficiency in Java XML SQL and other scripting languages used in Maximo customization.
  • Experience with Maximo upgrades data migrations and system integration projects.
  • Excellent problemsolving analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with crossfunctional teams and endusers.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices related to asset management and maintenance processes.
  • Maximo certifications or other relevant industry certifications (e.g. ITIL PMP).
  • Experience in implementing or supporting Maximo in specific industries like manufacturing utilities oil and gas or facilities management.
  • Familiarity with cloudbased Maximo implementations (e.g. Maximo as a Service Maximo SaaS).
  • Experience with Maximo reporting tools such as BIRT or Cognos.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
