Job Details:

• Contract Length: 12 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

• Performs structural assembly operations including fitting drilling riveting and fabrication in a production environment under minimal supervision.

• Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints ensuring compliance with specifications maintaining safety and quality standards and completing repairs or rework as necessary.

Required Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years of related structural assembly experience.

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints sketches and work orders.

• Ability to safely operate tools such as riveting guns pneumatic drills countersinks and reamers.

• Basic shop math skills and ability to read scales.

• Experience in sheet metal layout fabrication and installation.

• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety practices.

• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs climb ladders/stairs and work in restricted areas or any shift.

• Proficient in English (reading writing and verbal communication).

• Basic computer literacy.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam software.

• Familiarity with composite resins and materials.

• Knowledge of Lean principles and process improvement activities.

• Professional attitude and aptitude for handson craftwork.
