Job Description
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities; behavioral or medical complexities in a residential setting.
What You Get to Do:
- Provide handson assistance encouragement mentoring and guidance.
- Ensure the comfort safety and personal growth of the individuals we serve.
- Assist with daily living tasks such as moving around getting in and out of bed dressing bathing personal hygiene and more.
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Build relationships with persons served and teammates.
- Attend special community occasions and fun activities like outdoor walks games and social events.
- Transport persons served to appointments or other activities outside the home.
- Empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest.
- Document progress milestones and action steps.
Qualifications :
What We Look For:
18 years of age or older.
21 years of age or older to work in child foster care homes.
Prefer experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record as determined by Dungarvin policy. (Proof of valid DL is required).
Current auto liability insurance.
Computer skills for documentation.
Ability to perform personal cares.
