Job Description
Dungarvin is looking for dedicated Direct Support Professionals to provide direct care support to people with developmental disabilities in our Day Program. Candidates should have at least 6 months experience and will have a desire to create a lasting positive impact on peoples lives and enjoy coaching mentoring and encouraging others to reach their goals.
What You Get to Do:
- Work a reliable schedule Monday Friday
- Work in a Behavioral Adult Day Program located in Rohnert Park CA
- Assist the persons served to direct the course of their own lives develop and maintain relationships and participate in their communities
- Assist individuals with planning and achieving goals
- Assis with direct care and support with daily activities such as mealtime and personal care
- Implement positive behavior support plans
- Drive the company van or small bus to activities in the community
- Follow protocols and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe environment
- Assist persons served to direct the course of their own lives develop and maintain relationships and participate in their communities.
- Assist individuals with planning and achieving goals.
- Assist with direct care and support with daily activities such as mealtime and personal cares.
Qualifications :
What Makes You a Great Fit:
- 1 year of experience working with behaviors
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to drive company van
- 21 years or older
- Ability to lift/transfer 50 pounds
- Personcentered patient and kind
- Dependable adaptable flexible
- Observant and detailoriented
- Positive rolemodel for others and able to work on a team
- Committed to creating a respectful and collaborative environment
