We are currently seeking a candidate who will join a new team in our Tokyo offices and will directly support business development activities client engagement delivery and development of junior consultants. The ideal candidate will have experience and qualifications as described below equivalent to Manager level. Ideally this candidate would be able to join our Tokyo offices in early January 2025
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications:
- 7 years of combined experience in management consulting and in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of financial services domains including securities banking insurance and/or asset and wealth management
- Experience in technology implementation business process improvement operating model analysis and design digital marketing and/or market & client analysis programs
- Demonstrated analytical skills and familiarity with problemsolving techniques
- Confident articulate and selfdirected communicator with clients at all levels of seniority
- Client relationship management experience with a focus on managing client expectations
- Project / program management experience preferably as lead PM
- People management / development experience particularly in building capabilities of and mentoring junior consultants
- Bilingual (Japanese & English). At least N1 Japanese required (Native Japanese language skills desired) and at least business level English language skills required.
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Certification (i.e. PMP PRINCE2)
- Experience in and understanding of data governance and cybersecurity for financial institutions
- Familiarity with Financial/Investment Systems (ISTAR Bloomberg Murex etc.)
