Job Description
You will play a vital role in facilitating the professional development and ongoing education of nursing and clinical employees. This position involves designing implementing and evaluating educational programs to ensure that nursing staff maintain the highest standards of clinical practice and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver educational programs and training sessions for nursing staff on clinical procedures patient care protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and other healthcare professionals to identify educational needs and develop targeted learning initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments evaluations and feedback mechanisms making adjustments as needed.
- Stay current with advances in nursing practice evidencebased research and regulatory requirements to ensure that educational programs reflect the latest standards and guidelines.
- Coordinate with external educational institutions and professional organizations to provide opportunities for ongoing learning and certification for nursing staff.
Qualifications :
You are a passionate RN Educator who is committed to enhancing nursing practice and patient care. You bring a solid clinical background and a strong desire to share your knowledge and expertise with others. Your experience in education and mentoring equips you to design and deliver effective training programs that meet the diverse needs of nursing staff.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Melbourne Australia.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience in nursing education staff development or clinical instruction preferred.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles practices and standards of care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Proficiency in educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in nursing education (e.g. Certified Nurse Educator) preferred.
- Experience in curriculum development instructional design or program evaluation.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
