Job Description

 

Your new role 

The Clinical Education Lead is a key member of the clinical governance team responsible for designing implementing and overseeing clinical education programs. This role involves collaborating with internal teams healthcare professionals and educational institutions to ensure the highest quality of clinical education. The Clinical Education Lead will also be responsible for assessing the effectiveness of educational initiatives and making recommendations for improvement.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clinical education programs in alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify educational needs and develop curriculum content.
  • Liaise with healthcare professionals and educational institutions to establish partnerships and enhance clinical education opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to clinical educators and preceptors to ensure consistency and quality in teaching practices. 

Qualifications :

 

About You & What Youll Bring 

You are a passionate educator with a strong clinical background dedicated to enhancing the skills of healthcare professionals. Your leadership style fosters collaboration and innovation in educational practices. 

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical education or a related field.
  • Bachelors degree in Education or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development program evaluation and instructional design.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in educational technologies and learning management systems.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for clinical education programs.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Certification in clinical education or a related field (e.g. Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator).
  • Experience working in a healthcare or academic setting.
