Job Description

Rapporterer til: Avdelingsleder i verksted


Ansvarsomrde: Maskinarbeider er ansvarlig for betjene bedriftens maskiner og utstyr for utfrelse av arbeidsoperasjoner beskrevet i arbeidsordre.


Myndighet: Stillingen innehar myndighet i henhold til bedriftens signatur matrise og ansvarsomrde som definert i stillingsbeskrivelsen.


Arbeidsbeskrivelse: Produsere/reparere produkter og detaljer i h.h.t. arbeidsordre og i
overensstemmelse med lisensgivernes og Parker Wellbore (PW) sine egne krav.

Foreta og dokumentere egenkontroll av produkter i overensstemmelse med lisensgivernes og PW sine egne krav. Foreta kontroll av andres produkter der krav til kompetanse er oppfylt.

Flge opp rutiner for oppstart og vedlikehold av maskiner og srge for at disse holdes i god stand samt holde generelt god orden i verksted. I tillegg skal maskinarbeider ha orden p verkty og mleutstyr som blir brukt i forbindelse med produksjon og straks melde fra om feil/avvik p utstyr.

Fleksibilitet: Maskinarbeider kan plegges andre oppgaver av sin nrmeste overordnede.


Kvalitet: Maskinarbeider er ansvarlig for kvaliteten av eget og avdelingens arbeid og skal benytte PW sitt KS system for sikre at arbeidet tilfredsstiller gjeldende krav. Maskinarbeider skal ogs bidra til kontinuerlig forbedring av kvaliteten p vre produkter og tjenester gjennom tilbakemelding p gjeldende prosedyrer registrering av avvik og forslag til forbedringer.


HMS: PW skal srge for at alle operasjoner kan gjres p en sikker og hensiktsmessig mte gjennom oppdaterte arbeidsbeskrivelser og prosedyrer. PW har et ansvar for sikre et godt arbeidsmilj gjennom vernetjenesten AMU og god ledelse. Alle ansatte i PW har plikt til medvirke til et godt og sikkert arbeidsmilj. Alle har plikt til flge de krav som er satt og skal vre med p sikre at bedriftens HMS policy blir fulgt innenfor sine omrder i srdeleshet og et generelt ansvar for at bedriftens HMS policy blir etterfulgt generelt sett.

Physical demands and work environment

  • Ability to gather analyze and interpret data.
  • Ability to work around moving machinery
  • Ability to perform under stress under pressure and/or in emergency situations.
  • Lift carry and move objects of up to 50 pounds.
  • Operate machinery and/or power tools.
  • Ability to walk on uneven ground (gravel rocks mounds ice)
  • Wear personal protective equipment including but not limited to hard hat steeltoed safety shoes hearing protection respirators safety glasses goggles and full body harness.
  • Frequently stand walk stoop kneel carry push/pull reach and use repetitive wrist and hand movements.
  • Ability to ascend and descend ladders stairs scaffolding and/or ramps while carrying tools requiring a reasonable degree of physical stamina and agility and involving moderate to severe physical exertion
  • Carry up to 10 lbs.
  • Operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
  • Ability to multitask work in a fastpaced environment meet deadlines reason logically and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to comprehend remember and follow verbal and written directions and comply with Company policies procedures and standard.
  • Ability to work in hazardous conditions (dust/gas/fumes/steam/chemicals)
  • Ability to work at heights (scaffolding or ladders)
  • Sit/stand while performing primarily sedentary work
  • Use repetitive wrist hand or finger movements at a computer.
  • Exposure to vibration (oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body)
  • Ability to work in noisy environments
  • Ability to work as a team communicate and interact with others in a professional manner and consider alternative and diverse perspectives.
