Job Description
Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group providing highcapacity air charter and RPT services. From our base at Perth Airport we specialise in mining industry support regional airline services routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.
The Ground Services Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Ground Operations across the Network Aviation business while managing a team. In this role you will foster a culture of high performance by directly overseeing the development of a skilled and effective Ground Operations team.
Key responsibilities include conducting performance reviews ensuring adherence to formal case and absence management processes identifying training needs and overseeing staff development.
Youll have:
- Proven supervisory experience preferably gained in an operational environment
- Strong operational experience and knowledge
- Highly developed people leadership skills including performance management coaching mentoring and development
- Flexible and communicative approach to working with all stakeholders
- Initiative and a cando attitude
- A proactive and optimistic approach to problemsolving with the ability to deliver results within set timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- The ability to work a 7day rotational roster spanning a 24 hour operation
