- Under the CEOs office CORE PRINCIPLE & Sustainability promotes related projects.
- Sustainability is increasingly necessary to meet external demands through practice and disclosure.
- The legalization of global sustainability disclosure centered around the IFRS Foundation and regulations such as the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) in Europe are all directly connected to business operations making compliance essential for listed companies.
Sustainability management itself is a new concept and Santen is urgently seeking to strengthen its promotion system.

Promotion of sustainabilityrelated PJ
ESGKPISanten
Promoting various projects related to ESG such as environmental and human capital from the perspective of the sustainability department including the planning and execution support of medium and longterm visions and KPIs and the disclosure of necessary matters for the entire Santen.
2/ Obtaining ThirdParty Assurance
ESG
KPMG
CSRD
Create the ESG data book.
Contracting and implementation liaison with the audit firm (KPMG).
Understanding the content of thirdparty assurance required under future regulations such as CSRD and specific measures to address them.
3/ Reporting / Stakeholder Engagement
SR
The creation of integrated reports and sustainability websites
Communication with internal and external stakeholders including SR responses
/CSRIR
OJT
Product / business knowledge at Santen
Experience in sustainability/CSR corporate planning and strategy formulation or disclosure work in public relations or investor relations (preferred if available. Knowledge related to sustainability is expected to be acquired through onthejob training)
