Position Summary
The Service Contract Specialist will support the expansion of Intuitive solutions such as the daVinci robotic system by working closely with the Field Service Capital Sales Legal and Finance teams. This role will actively drive activities to set up and maintain Service contracts across all product lines and will primarily be engaged in the amendment and drafting of contracts as well as supporting new service initiatives and projects. Additionally will be knowledgeable of and support quoting and business system / billing activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
Supporting capital sales activity
- Work with Sales Operations Legal and Capital sales teams to set up new installs in the CRM database
- Provide prepaid (multiyear) service billing plan for Capital sales contract
- Oversee and carry out procedures for termination of Service contracts on tradein systems including termination letters amendments and credit/refund as needed
Facilitating Use License Service Agreements for Service contract renewals bids and other circumstances
- Create quotes and seal request based on requirements from Field Service team and adhering to established company protocols on pricing and discounting
- Draft the service agreement working closely with Legal and Finance teams based on requests from Field Service team
- Seal and send service agreement to relevant Field Service personnel to submit to hospital
- Prepare tender applications for public hospitals
- Once the service agreement is signed perform necessary communications and system settings
- Frontline support for field teams on special hospital requests and drafting amendments to contracts
Perform ongoing service and simulator subscription administrative activities
- Servicerelated billing activities such as invoicing documentation and responding to inquiries
- Handle advanced simulator and all other digital subscription needs
Drive servicerelated projects and initiatives
- Support the rollout of new Service offerings and modification of existing offerings
- Drive alignment with various teams locally throughout the Service lifecycle: preinstall postinstall renewal upgrade and termination
- Other tasks as assigned by manager
Qualifications :
Skill/Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience required
- Experience working in administrative positions / office environment required
- Experience in health care and contract related functions strongly preferred
- Excellent attention to detail required
- Great interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with business systems such as SAP ERP billing systems CRM Salesforce etc. strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of MS office applications: Word Excel required
- Native level Japanese language ability required
- Ability to read and write in English at business level preferred
- Ability to communicate in oral English preferred
Other Expectations
- Ability to travel 5% as needed
