Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Kubernetes Engineer to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Kubernetes
particularly in managing both onpremises and cloud environments.
You will be working extensively with OpenShift and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE)
leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform to ensure efficient and scalable deployment processes.
Your key tasks
- Design implement and manage Kubernetes clusters on both onpremises and cloud environments (OpenShift and OKE).
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts using Terraform for provisioning and managing Kubernetes resources.
- Automate deployment scaling and management of containerized applications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement security best practices for Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Collaborate with different stakeholders to streamline CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment processes.
Qualifications :
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes specifically with OpenShift and Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) (at least 5 years of experience).
- Proficiency in Terraform and experience in developing and maintaining complex IaC.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Github Jenkins GitLab CI etc.).
- Experience of networking security and monitoring in Kubernetes environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
- Computer science degree or successfully completed training in the IT field or comparable professional experience.
It would be a real bonus if you have
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as OCI AWS GCP or Azure.
- Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA CKAD) and/or Terraform.
