To support our Shiji Sales team we are looking for a Sales Manager that will be responsible for leading and developing the growth of Shiji solutions across the hospitality and tourism industry in the assigned market. You will also focus on raising the profile of Shiji in the regions by working with partners and key industry stakeholders.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting and calling upon independent hotels small hotel groups and other hospitality venues to position the solutions value proposition and convert the opportunity into a closed sale. The Sales Manager will hunt for new business globally via telephone email and various social media channels to build a pipeline of opportunities.
The candidate will have indepth knowledge of business development and sales techniques sales methodology and a candoattitude. In cooperation with internal and external resources he/she will review the markets and associated data identify areas of focus and develop targeted site lists. In support of the sales business plan they will identify and engage with the stakeholders of targeted properties and occasionally conduct demonstrations and present proposals that result in driving revenue. This person will be based in Barcelona fluent in Italian and English languages and work closely with their peers their Sales Leader & the broader Shiji team.

Responsibilities
- Business generation for the mentioned markets though lead generation and demo sessions with clients to demonstrate the power of our products
- Update sales process and procedures documentation based upon lessons learned
- Interact with all departments necessary within the organization to resolve client issues.
- Responding to client support emails and calls.
- Update all internal systems to properly track sales opportunities engagement & and customer contacts
- Update the CRM & Service Management systems with appropriate information
- Forge strong relationships with our prospects customers and industry partners.
- Protect & maximize revenue potential with all prospects
- Identify and report product and service enhancement requests.
- Input and update information on customer conversations and issues
- Complete and achieve all other assigned goals in relation to the position.
Qualifications :
- Fluent in written & spoken English & Italian is a must
- Strong Communication Skills both verbal and written.
- Positive personality with a good learning attitude.
- Experience with IT technology or SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions preferably within the Hospitality industry. (Beneficial but not essential)
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical organizational communication and people skills required.
- Professional get it done attitude and work ethic.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies products and procedures.
