Job Description
Summary of Position
The Associate IV may perform a variety of significant tasks which contribute to the overall quality and safety of pistachio & almond products. These may include performing tasks in multiple areas including but not limited to Fabrication Machine Operation Maintenance and Sanitation. The Associate IV plays a vital role in their contribution to the overall goals of various departments.
Duties & Responsibilities
(You may be asked to perform some or all of the duties described below)
Prepare production machinery for operation at beginning of shift including input of production run variables adjustments regulation calibration and testing.
Monitor machine performance through continual observation and troubleshooting.
Responsible for all product changeovers and ensuring that machine is sanitized properly.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on all machines in area of responsibility.
Assist engineers with new product development testing and continuous improvement projects.
Critical Skills
All Task Level I & II Critical Skills.
Perform math functions at a HS level.
Possess the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Communicate effectively in writing to include: emails letters presentations etc.
Selfdiscipline to stay on task and meet necessary deadlines provided by leader.
Build collaborative relationships with peers and customers.
Recognize conflict.
Solve conflicts constructively with the assistance of a superior when necessary.
Understand the need for change and take an active role in making the change.
Update and maintain business performance measures.

Functional Skills
Safely operate all jobrelated machinery and equipment required for the performance of assigned tasks.
Keep assigned areas of responsibility clean and well organized.
Demonstrate good judgment when performing written or oral instructions.
Complete required documents accurately and in a timely manner.
Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not required).
Communicate issues or concerns to supervisor in a timely manner.
Intermediate level computer skills are required.
Attend safety meetings and other departmental or company related meetings as assigned.
Participate in all Lock OutTag Out (LOTO) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings.
Observe all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) as specified by the Companys food safety policy.
Perform additional duties as assigned. (May also be asked to perform Task Level I & II duties as needed).
Education / Experience
High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) recommended.
12 years of related experience recommended.
Pay Range:$21.15
