Job Description
Design and specification of fire suppression systems including wetpipe drypipe preaction deluge fire pumps and storage tanks across various project types.
Knowledge of special systems such as foam spray mist clean agent wet/dry chemical and carbon dioxide is preferred.
Stay updated with latest industry practices codes and standards like IS NBC NFPA ISO ASME.
Perform hydraulic calculations and coordinate with outside resources for special hazard systems.
Prepare data sheets and material requisition.
Coordinate with other disciplines clients and stakeholders for a clashfree system design.
Manage assigned scope within agreed schedule and budget.
Review contractor shop drawings field inspections and testing and commissioning reports.
Coordinate with all disciplines for ensuring the package battery limits and incorporation of Vendor data.
Review the 3D model on Navisworks and provide feedback to all the stakeholders.
Handle overall technical management and coordination with Contractors and site team.
Design of Plumbing & fire protection systems & deliverables including Concept Design Schematic Design Design Development Tender Design.
Experience in design of water supply sewerage and drainage system
Design of comprehensive underground sewerage and storm water systems.
Sizing and selecting of location for STP WTP & water tanks.
Establishing water demand sizing and location of water storage.
Design and Selection of Hot water system Sizing of grease trap organic waste convertor.
Plumbing experience in design of Pharma FMCG industrial residential commercial corporate offices and Hotel project.
Sizing and routine of water distribution system (Cold and Hot water).
Sizing selection and space planning of water and sewage treatment plant.
Design and sizing of rainwater harvesting and disposable system.
Design and sizing of storm and sewer drainage.
Manage scope budget and schedule to meet project goals.
Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines such as electrical structural architectural and process to develop designs.
Ability to design complete distribution systems to current legislation and codes of practice for various type of buildings based on applicable Codes and Standards.
Perform quality review checks for 2D/3D modelling and Plumbing deliverables.
B.E / B. Tech Civil / Mechanical engineering or any related engineering field from a recognized institution.
Minimum 515 years of Experience in design Consultancy or Contractor.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is essential.
Experience with any 3D modeling tool like SmartPlant 3D or REVIT Bluebeam Knowledge of Auto Pipe Autocad Plant 3D will be an added advantage.
