You will be updated with latest job alerts via email Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders in equities fixed income derivatives and other securities on behalf of clients and the firm ensuring timely efficient and accurate transactions in line with internal standards and international best practices.
Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial markets news and economic trends to identify trading opportunities and manage risk.
Execution Quality: Ensure highquality execution in all trades focusing on minimizing transaction costs optimizing market timing and adhering to best practices for execution.
Sales and Trading Collaboration: Work closely with internal sales and trading team to align trading strategies with client needs and market opportunities.
Back Office Coordination: Collaborate with back office teams to ensure smooth settlement of trades proper reconciliation and compliance with all operational procedures.
Risk Management: Continuously assess and mitigate risks associated with trading positions ensuring that trades are executed in line with the firms risk appetite.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all trading activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements internal policies and risk controls.
Market Intelligence: Provide insights into market conditions competitors and industry trends to help shape the firms trading and investment strategies.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate for the Trader role will have a deep understanding of financial markets a passion for trading and strong decisionmaking abilities under pressure. In addition to technical and analytical skills candidates should be comfortable managing risk and executing trades efficiently and in compliance with firm standards.
At least 1 year of experience in trading treasury or related financial roles at a reputable commercial or investment bank or financial institution.
Experience in securities trading (equities fixed income derivatives etc.) is a strong advantage.
Strong understanding of market analysis trade execution and risk management practices.
Proficiency in using trading platforms market data tools and financial software.
Familiarity with Georgias financial regulations and market infrastructure (knowledge of the Law of Georgia on the Securities Market is a plus).
High levels of ethics integrity and professionalism.
Ability to quickly assess market conditions and make informed trading decisions.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive detailoriented mindset with strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highpressure environment.
Proficiency in English and Russian; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Economics or related field. CFA or other relevant certifications are an advantage.
