Job Description
What will you be doing
As an IT Application Support Engineer you will join our team in Bristol to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Supporting Coordinating and supervising Level 1.5 & 2 shopfloor engineers in applications utilised in the manufacturing environment such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) Scheduling softwares and Machining.
- Training and assisting endusers to ensure optimal use of the applications.
- Collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to resolve incidents and optimize application performance.
- Participating in continuous improvement of processes and tools by proposing innovative solutions.
- Writing and updating technical documentation and operating procedures.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- Engineering degree in Computer Science Information Systems or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in application support preferably in an industrial sector.
- Prior exposure to production environments and industrial processes
- Proficiency in ticket management tools and common operating systems.
