What will you be doing
As a Mechanical Design Engineer you will join our team in Derby to support our activities within the Aerospace and/or Defence sector.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Design and develop mechanical components systems and structures for aerospace/defence projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including systems engineers manufacturing teams and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Conduct design reviews ensuring compliance with aerospace/defence standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation for all designs and processes including technical reports and manuals.
- Ensure costeffective design solutions while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications :
Experience skills and qualifications required:
- A Bachelors or Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- More than two years experience in relevant aerospace/defence role(s)
- Proficient in CAD software(s) preferably Siemens NX but not limited too.
