Job Description
We are looking for dedicated AZ drivers to join our short haul team in Port Sydney Muskoka starting on Sunday nights and returning midday Friday. You will be required to sleep in the truck bunk during hauls. You will be responsible for safely transporting materials across Northern and Sourthern Ontario.
What youll be responsible for:
- Safely operating an AZ truck and trailer transporting materials to various locations
- Conducting thorough pre and post trip inspections of the vehicle
- Safely loading and unloading materials ensuring load security
- Following assigned routes and schedules adapting to environmental or route changes
- Performing manual tarping on loads when necessary
Qualifications :
What youll need:
- Valid AZ drivers license with a clean CVOR and drivers abstract
- Experience operating 18 speed manual transmission is preferred
- Minimum 3 years experience as an AZ driver in a similar role
- Must be physically able to perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs
- Must be comfortable sleeping in truck bunk during hauls
