As a Commercial Director you shall be responsible for leading commercial sales activities for the Decorative Projects across six countries: Saudi Arabia UAE Qatar Kuwait Oman and Bahrain. This is a highly visible and influential role critical to advancing the organizations strategic objectives in the Middle Eastern market.
This role will develop and implement a sales strategy aimed at achieving both short and longterm goals focusing on current customer retention and new customer acquisition to drive revenue growth and market expansion.

Here are some key responsibilities to look forward to
Establish an overall vision and sales strategy and ensure profitability for the Area
Lead guide coach evaluate and develop a team to ensure that the Area achieves its business objectives and aligns with all relevant regulations and laws
Review and advice on policies such as pricing product mix brand portfolio
Review and monitor sales performance periodically and refine sales strategies as required
Prepare rolling forecast on regional volume allocation pricing and revenue
Implement pricing / profitability strategies to assure success while maintaining company profitability
Drive a strong specification selling approach and transform the way we sell activities including customer classification
Ensure compliance of all Hempels procedures and policies
The role requires collaboration with key departments including Commercial Excellence Marketing Operations Supply Chain Key Account Management and Solution Management to align with the Double Impact strategy
Require regional travel to maintain strong oversight and team development
This role will be based in Bahrain and reporting directly to the Vice President and Head of Decorative Middle East.
Furthermore we expect that you have
Bachelor degree with a strong preference for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Masters program
Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role with a track record of leading large accounts and successful project execution
Leadership and people management abilities with experience motivating and guiding highperformance sales teams (strong preference for candidates with experience leading managers)
Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problemsolving and decisionmaking
Proven experience of atleast 10 years in a business related environment including roles of progressive responsibility in Customer Services Sales and/or Marketing
Preferably bilingual Arabic and English
Strong communication skills working cross functionally and across different levels in the organization in a global environment
Exceptional negotiation presentation and relationshipbuilding skills
Experience with strategic organizational planning
Proficiency in ERP system: Microsoft preferred CRM Software MS Office (Advanced Excel & PowerPoint)
