Job Description
The purpose of this position is to execute component project management for GH BU in India (Projects and work packages).
Skills and Competency:
Advance knowledge about product development manufacturing process & project management according to PEP process.
Advance knowledge of project management tools like APQP MPP 8D PPAP risk management etc.
Advance knowledge on budget/cost control & product costing.
Competent communication skills (written & spoken) & customer orientation
Role and Responsibility:
1. Project Management Process: Collect project data to facilitate customer project acquisition. Facilitate seamless execution of project post acquisition from project development phase to series release phase. Manage manufacture relocation topics.
2. System and Process: Define project charter align with necessary stakeholders for
timely closure of open topics including risk release document as per project requirement/progress systematically and participate/ lead audits with necessary
preparation.
3. Risk Management: Escalate in case of deviations/risk coordinate support & ensure execution of mitigation plan along with CFT report cost impact and obtain management decision/approvals.
4.Budget Management: Track project efforts and budget and align with team leader
and obtain support/decision
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Automobile)
MBA (desirable)
13 years of experience in execution of project management
