BMC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Instructor to join our Radiological Science Program. The Clinical Instructor will play a key role in educating and mentoring students through their clinical training in radiological sciences. This position involves supervising students in clinical settings ensuring adherence to safety and ethical standards and fostering a learning environment that integrates theory with handson practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clinical Instruction: Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations in diagnostic radiography radiologic technology and other radiological sciences disciplines.
- Student Assessment: Assess student performance in clinical environments provide feedback and help develop professional competencies in diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinical partners faculty and staff to ensure clinical training aligns with program objectives and standards.
- Curriculum Support: Assist in the development and updating of clinical training materials and ensure that students have access to uptodate clinical protocols.
- Student Support: Provide guidance feedback and counseling to students helping them integrate classroom knowledge with realworld clinical experience.
- Professional Development: Stay current with developments in radiological science and clinical practices. Participate in ongoing professional education and contribute to departmental meetings and activities.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure students follow regulatory standards safety protocols and infection control procedures during clinical training.
Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor s degree in Radiologic Technology Radiological Science or a related field is required.
- Masters degree in Radiological Science or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in radiologic technology with expertise in specific areas such as Xray MRI CT etc..
- Prior teaching experience or experience in supervising students or trainees in a clinical environment is preferred.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong clinical knowledge of radiological science principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively mentor and assess students in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students clinical staff and faculty.
- Familiarity with current trends technologies and best practices in radiologic science.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
