Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Tech
Pay: $2627 per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: 1/11/2025
Requirements: Graduation from an AMAapproved school of Radiologic Technology or Medical Sonography
Experience: One year of radiologic/imaging experience
Specialization: Specific experience and training in Medical Sonography
Required Skills: Vascular and obstetric experience knowledge and understanding of general anatomy physiology and medical terminology ability to read and communicate effectively in English department specific training proficiency with most major Medical Sonography equipment manufacturers hardware and software
Additional Requirements: Ability to comply with oncall specifics proficiency in the use of a personal computer including word processing excellent interpersonal organizational and written and verbal communication skills ability to independently take initiative and exercise good judgment in decisionmaking ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressures and to simultaneously handle multiple projects
Personal Traits: Professional maturity high degree of honesty integrity and confidentiality flexibility and willingness to undertake new responsibilities as assigned ability to work under stress
Certifications: Registered with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Registry eligible current BCLS certification
Legal Requirements: Maintaining all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
